The Notebook Project
The Notebook Project was an idea that came we started planning for our trip. The idea was to randomly leave notebooks in indiscriminate locations throughout our epic adventure with the goal that people would find them and write in them. In a nutshell, it's an inversion of the message in a bottle idea. Instead of one message floating in the ocean searching for a recipient, it's a bottle, floating around the world in search of messages.
If you're reading this, you've either been reading our blog on the regular, or more excitingly, you've found one of the notebooks that we have left along our travels. If you're the latter, we hope that the book finds you well. Write or draw as much or as little as you would like, when you are done, leave it in a public place for someone else to find! If you happen to be the person who has filled the notebook, please contact us (the.real.mcquays@gmail.com). We would love to somehow get the filled notebooks back and see what the world had to say! We know that the odds are against these notebooks, but no-one ever writes a message in a bottle knowing for sure that it will find someone to read it. This is obviously an experiment. The results are unknown, but we have hope that maybe, just maybe, one of these notebooks will travel around the world and make its way back to us full of messages.
